All to often mainstream news media buries important news in favor of "news" of a high-profile politician or a celebrities extramarital affair, or some other scandal, their death, ETC. They (mainstream news media) has a habit of running the "news" for several days, even weeks, while at the same time really good news goes out the window and never heard of again. They think a 'blurb' or 'brief' is enough, disguising it as "Breaking News". There are news feed aggregators for that, when you want real, FULL-length news it will be here waiting for you!
